This waiting room was designed for a dentist's office. It
uses grey, pink, and white furniture while keeping a professional, yet
comfortable, look and feel. The entrance and receptionists desk are located
towards the left side of the room. The right corner contains toys and games
that can be used as a spot for kids to play. The room also contains
comfortable waiting chairs with side tables and plants for decoration. Space is
utilized in this room by making sure nothing is too cluttered in a specific area.
By also locating things more towards the wall, it gives the room a more
distinct walk way for easy movement. This room contains mostly solid patterns, but the wood
flooring gives the room horizontal lines, which is said to have a more relaxing
feel. Most of the textures used in this room are very soft looking. The rug has a rough
tactile texture, while the wire bins and plants have an audible texture. The
form in this room is very 3D, containing mostly geometric form, while the
plants contain an organic form. Overall, this waiting room is perfect for
making patients feel comfortable and welcome.
